The HIGH SECURITY MICRO SKIMMER cash drawer is a unique design, which combines the footprint of a flip lid with all the functions of a front opening cash drawer. Perfect for any situation where space is limited due to its short opening. The MICRO SKIMMER drawer enables retailers to only retain the float within the drawer. The skimmer operates by the cashier placing hig value and excess notes in a back note compartment. When the drawer is closed the notes are skimmed from the note compartment into a secure box beneath the drawer. The skimmed notes can only be removed by a key holder at a convenient time. By securing the notes in an out of sight location retailers will increase security against grab theft at the PoS.
